Job Reference Number: 35484Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Segment: EducationBrand: Elior-Collegiate-DiningLocation: Albany, Georgia (US-GA) The Role at a glance: We are looking to add an experienced, motivated executive chef for our Elior Collegiate Dining team in Albany, GA. As an executive chef, you will have the opportunity to prepare delicious, healthy food for guests. What you'll be doing: Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation. Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met. Participating in the planning and execution of special events. What we're looking for: Must-Haves: Minimum of five years of progressive culinary experience with demonstrated growth in responsibility. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications such as menu software management. Proven experience reviewing, interpreting, and managing budget statements. Robust catering background, with a track record of executing high-quality catered events. Strong people management skills with the ability to train, teach, coach, and mentor team members. Nice-to-Have: Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
