Job Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for managing the scheduling process for solar installation projects, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure timely and efficient project execution. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and schedule project activities to meet customer deadlines and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Project Scheduling and Coordination:
Develop and maintain project schedules for solar installation projects, including site assessments, permitting, material procurement, and construction activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to schedule project activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.
Resource Allocation and Management:
Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to procure materials and equipment as needed to support project schedules.
Schedule Optimization and Efficiency:
Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize project schedules to improve efficiency and minimize project duration and costs.
Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance scheduling processes and workflows.
Communication and Collaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and communications from internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and subcontractors to resolve scheduling conflicts, address issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules, milestones, and changes, and communicate schedule updates to relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on project scheduling status, progress, and performance for management and project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 2 years of experience in project scheduling or coordination, preferably in the solar or construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Salary: $15-$18/hr
