Position Overview:

As the Assistant to the Wedding Venue Director, you will play a key role in coordinating weddings and events, assisting with client communications, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves weddings and event planning, and has excellent multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Wedding Venue Director in the planning and execution of weddings and events.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and staff to coordinate event details.
  • Assist with venue tours, bookings, and client meetings.
  • Manage event schedules, contracts, and paperwork.
  • Help oversee event setup and breakdown to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain inventory of venue supplies and décor.
  • Provide administrative support, including emails, invoices, and calendar management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
