ADMINISTRATIVE/BOOKKEEPING ASSISTANT (CHARLOTTE)

Locally owned flooring company is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist who is comfortable dealing with customers, vendors, and employees, has excellent phone skills; able to handle A/P & A/R, invoicing and sales orders. This position will provide front line communications with customers and vendors. Knowledge of flooring specific software is a plus. If no experience with the software we are looking for a quick learner with good decision making capabilities. We are looking for a candidate that has had stability and longevity in their prior positions.

Job requirements:

* Applicants should be personally responsible with a high sense of integrity

* Accounts Payable experience - 3-way match of vendor bills

* Should be a self starter and comfortable with working independently for the majority of the day

* Multi-tasked to answer phones, data entry, filing, and general clerical duties

* Flexible and organized

* Strong attention to detail and follow through

* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

* Positive and courteous attitude

* Reliable transportation

* Effective communication skills and clear phone voice

* Flooring experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
