40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration:
November 10, 2025 – June 30, 2026

Pay Rate:
Up to
$20.00/hour
(based on experience)

Work Type:
Hybrid / Primarily Remote (must attend in-person orientation and be local to the Phoenix metro area)

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage assigned taxpayer accounts.
  • Verify, gather, and update key taxpayer information across multiple systems.
  • Educate taxpayers on online resources and current tax policies.
  • Document all collection activities and maintain detailed case notes.
  • Contact taxpayers via phone and field visits to resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and ensure compliance with state tax regulations.
  • Participate in asset seizure and sales to satisfy delinquent tax liabilities, including identifying lien property and conducting public auctions.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in engagement and improvement activities.
  • Meet established performance metrics and compliance goals.

Skills Required

  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with
    Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
    .
  • Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented with attention to accuracy and compliance.

Skills Preferred

  • Spanish-speaking
    ability.
  • Experience in
    process improvement activities
    .

Experience Required

  • Minimum of
    two consecutive years
    in each of the last two positions within a
    fast-paced call center
    environment.
  • Background in
    finance/banking, insurance, or telecommunications
    (customer-facing roles; not technical support).

Experience Preferred:

  • Previous participation in
    process improvement initiatives
    .

Education

  • Required:
    High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred:
    Associate's degree or higher.

Additional Information

  • Position may lead to
    permanent employment
    based on performance and dependability.
  • Must pass
    state and federal background checks, fingerprinting
    , and
    tax filing record review
    for the last 5 years.
  • Must reside in the
    Greater Phoenix Metro area
    and attend
    in-person orientation
    .
  • Must be able to
    transport computer equipment
    (not via public transportation).
  • Training period:
    3–6 weeks, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (attendance mandatory).
  • Must have
    hardwired internet access
    with sufficient bandwidth for system applications.
  • Short-term or frequent job changes
    may disqualify candidates.
