Freelance Role:

Gramercy Tech is looking for a highly-motivated and client-focused local
Freelance Production Associate (PA)

to assist us with the seamless execution of live events. The PA would be assisting our staff transport the gear from a location on property, assist setting up/assembling iPad stands, configuring iPads, plugging in mac mini to client provided display, transporting cases to on property storage area, standby during event to assist as needed, packing up stands and gear post event, transporting gear to on property location or possibly taking off property to fedex dropoff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, test and troubleshoot equipment including but not limited to iPads, printers, kiosk, laptops, and stands.
  • Provide logistical and technical assistance.
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory of Gramercy equipment.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Strong understanding of hardware with the ability to troubleshoot ipads, printers, kiosks
  • Basic understanding of networking/wifi/internet
  • Proficient tech knowledge is a plus
  • Organized and detailed-oriented
  • Knowledge of Cvent is helpful, but not mandatory
  • Must have own insurance (general liability and worker's comp)
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs of equipment in and out of events
  • Must be able to perform extensive standing, walking, and driving
  • Be willing and able to travel, if needed
