The Career Opportunity:
The Business Intelligence Developer works with marketing stakeholders to design and develop insightful reports, dashboards, and data analysis projects that inform and drive meaningful business decisions for the company.

The Business Intelligence Developer operates in a rapidly evolving technical environment and requires a proven ability to solve complex data problems and improve business processes. The individual will work with various teams within the organization including marketing, sales, and customer success to automate performance metrics that inform decisions.What You'll DoHere's how you'll help us bring our mission to life and show up as a Trusted Partner:
  • Collaborate with the Business Systems architect and business stakeholders to understand business problems and user requirements.
  • Produce creative analytic dashboards and visualizations to develop actionable insights and business impact.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize our SQL data warehouse and validate against HubSpot and SFDC.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of report and dashboard development including the gathering of business requirements, documenting technical specifications, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly data refreshes, data maintenance, and Tableau administrative duties.
  • Provide training and assistance as needed to other Tableau users.

  • You've established regular, reliable dashboards that provide performance indicators to drive investment or divestment decisions
  • You've created a meaningful view of our product adoption in market and are able to meaningfully visualize areas of opportunity for marketing to tackle
  • You've collaborated deeply with the performance teams and product marketing teams to understand the landscape, levers and roadmap such that you ideate new reporting and insights that drive business decisions
What You Bring Your unique talents are what make you shine. For this role, success looks like:
  • 4+ years of experience building/modifying stored procedures (T-SQL) in order to troubleshoot issues with dashboards and able to write complex SQL queries
  • Experience in modern data warehousing techniques (dimensional modeling, ETL processes, etc.
  • Must have experience working with and reporting on Salesforce and HubSpot CRM data
  • Expert knowledge of Excel with the ability to use advanced formulas and pivot tables
  • 2+ years of experience building, customizing, and publishing Tableau visualizations and dashboards
  • Advanced understanding of data visualization practices and methods
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey technical requirements to non-technical users
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize according to project timelines
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution
  • Proactive, independent, and able to adapt to evolving priorities
  • Experience with Python

Together.The Fine Print (That Really Matters)At PracticeTek, we determine compensation by considering market data, internal equity, and each candidate's skills and experience. For this position, we reasonably expect to pay between $100,000 -$120,000. This role is also eligible for benefits, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or equity, as applicable.
