About the Role
Armada is seeking a resourceful and results-oriented Market Intelligence Specialist to join our Growth team. This mid-level role is pivotal in shaping how Armada is perceived by industry analysts, customers, and partners. You will conduct research, cultivate strong relationships with key influencers, and craft compelling content that positions our products to drive business growth.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, opportunities, and challenges.
- Analyze competitor strategies, product offerings, and market positioning.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and provide insights to inform business strategy.
- Analyst Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts at Gartner, Forrester, and other relevant firms.
- Proactively engage with analysts to brief them on Armada's solutions, strategy, and value proposition.
- Ensure Armada's solutions are accurately represented in industry reports and secure favorable placement in key analyses.
- Content Development:
- Create high-quality, informative content such as white papers, blog posts, presentations, and sales collateral that showcases the value of Armada's products.
- Develop tailored presentations and sales decks for high-value potential customers, highlighting the business value and competitive differentiation of Armada's offerings.
- Support the sales team by providing them with the resources and information they need to effectively engage with prospects and close deals.
- Product Expertise & Roadmap Awareness:
- Develop a deep understanding of Armada's products, their value proposition, and their competitive differentiation.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team to stay informed about the product roadmap, including current features, planned enhancements, and future development initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of product limitations and potential challenges to proactively address them in market-facing materials and communications.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in market research, competitive intelligence, proposal creation, or a related field.
- Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in crafting professional and engaging presentations (PowerPoint proficiency required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and impactful content.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into customer-focused insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
- Resourceful, curious, and adaptable, with a focus on delivering high-quality work efficiently.
- Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in growth or marketing teams within fast-paced, technology-driven organizations.
- Experience with analyst relations (e.g., Gartner, Forrester).
