Human Resources Business Partner
who will play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy, fostering an engaging workplace culture, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
In this role, you will support a diverse client group comprised of Engineering, Supply Chain, Shared Services and corporate functions such as Finance, HR, and Legal. Partnering with these groups requires a balanced approach: collaborating with Engineering and Supply Chain to address technical talent needs, global workforce planning, and retention of niche skills, while working with Corporate and Shared Services leaders to strengthen leadership pipelines, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster cross-functional collaboration. You will act as a trusted advisor across all functions, tailoring your HR partnership to meet the unique needs of each business area while driving ORBCOMM's overall people strategy forward.

What You'll Do
- Strategic HR Leadership – Partner with senior and executive leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, driving workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Performance & Talent Management – Coach and guide managers on performance management, career development, succession planning, and leadership training to enhance team effectiveness.
- Employee Engagement & Culture – Champion a culture of excellence by designing and executing initiatives that promote engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Workforce Optimization – Analyze workforce trends, assess talent gaps, and implement strategies to drive productivity and business success.
- Organizational Development – Identify opportunities for process improvement, restructuring, and change management to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
- HR Program Execution – Collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver initiatives in learning & development, compensation, and employee relations, ensuring alignment with company priorities.
- HR Compliance & Best Practices– Ensure adherence to employment laws, HR policies, and industry best practices, acting as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters.
Who You Are
You're a strategic thinker with a knack for Human Resources, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and precision. If you have:
- 10+ years of HR experience in a strategic business partner role, ideally in a global high-tech environment.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving workforce optimization.
- Expertise in HR best practices, organizational development, and employee engagement.
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity.
- Commitment to continuous learning in digital and AI literacy.
