Aztec Mechanical Service Coordinator

SUMMARY

Schedules and coordinates flow of work within the Service Department to expedite services, ensuring revenues and profits by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receives and/or follows up on all incoming customer service calls.

Produces Work Orders and Enters in Schedule.

Establishes priorities for specific customer orders.

Reviews Schedule and Work Orders with Service Manager.

Coordinates customer requests for service from the initial call for service, to scheduling, to producing the Work Order, to follow-up calls with the customer, to generating the Customer Invoice.

Revises Schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material and equipment.

Confers with Service Manager to determine progress of work and to provide information.

Maintains and updates Customer Database with all pertinent information.

Assist Service Manager in day-to-day Management of the Service Department, focusing on profitability and ensuring delivery of services, but also on expansion of sales and the expansion of manpower as the needs arise.
