Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing and implementing our social media strategy, engaging with our audience, and enhancing our online presence. Duties

  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve content visibility.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities through social listening.
  • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to track performance metrics and optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for promotional materials.
  • Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and managing relationships with influencers.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for content creation ideas that align with branding goals.
  • Assist in video editing and photography for social media posts.
  • Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand voice.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO techniques and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience with social media management platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including Facebook Advertising and e-commerce trends.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail for proofreading content.
  • Ability to conduct effective keyword research to enhance content reach.
  • Strong relationship management skills to engage effectively with audiences and influencers.
  • Basic video editing skills are a plus, along with an interest in photography.
