Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends, branding, and digital communication strategies, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to develop professional skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Assist in developing and executing social media marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content including graphics, videos, and written posts using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Manage social media scheduling with applications like Hootsuite and Buffer to ensure consistent brand presence.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and competitor activities using tools like Google Analytics and web analytics platforms.
  • Perform keyword research and SEO optimization to enhance content visibility and engagement.
  • Support in managing relationships with followers, influencers, and partners through effective relationship management strategies.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy, branding consistency, and adherence to style guidelines before publishing.
  • Assist in analyzing campaign performance metrics to inform future strategies using web analytics tools.
  • Contribute to branding initiatives and support public relations efforts through creative storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the team on e-commerce strategies and digital marketing initiatives to increase online engagement.

Experience

  • Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook Advertising, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience with social listening tools like Hootsuite or Buffer is preferred.
  • Understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics (Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of video editing and photography is a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and editing.
  • Previous experience or coursework related to digital marketing, branding, or public relations is advantageous but not required. This internship provides valuable exposure to the latest trends in social media marketing while developing essential skills in digital content creation, analytics, and brand management within a collaborative team environment.
