The Social Media Marketing Specialist will be pivotal in developing and executing our social media strategy, focusing on alignment with our business goals to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales. This role requires a passionate, energetic individual who thrives in the fast-evolving landscape of digital media and is eager to implement new ideas and strategies that resonate with our diverse customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics and optimize content based on insights.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout).
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
  • Prepare and manage a monthly budget for social media activities and report on ROI.
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels.
  • Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field.
