Position Summary
We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead a high-performing regional sales team and drive revenue growth across assigned territories. This individual will play a key role in developing strategic customer relationships and promoting American Roller's complete line of industrial roller and coating solutions.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a customer-first mindset, capable of inspiring teams, driving sales strategy, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8–10 Sales Representatives, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and execute regional sales strategies that align with American Roller's customer-centric and data-driven goals.
- Set and manage performance goals and KPIs that drive results and support company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, and industrial partners.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to deliver tailored, innovative solutions.
- Utilize CRM tools for pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking customer insights.
- Conduct engaging technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer site visits.
- Support customer trials and qualification programs for new technologies and solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customers need to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 8–10+ years of B2B industrial sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Background in manufacturing or engineered product environments is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams, exceed sales goals, and drive customer success.
- Strong technical sales acumen and understanding of complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel regionally 50–60% of the time.
