Sharepoint to AWS migration Engineer

Title: SharePoint to AWS migration Engineer (Federal Government)

This job is 100% (remote)

Responsible for planning and executing the migration of SharePoint data/metadata to AWS, while ensuring the integrity of data, security and minimal disruption.

Responsibilities:

• Create, document, and maintain technical procedures and guidelines as it relates to SharePoint physical and logical architecture
• Collects, analyzes, and documents results
• Expertise with Sharepoint online and on-prem
• Understand business requirements through direct interaction and be able to deliver the small scale projects under supervision
• ETL of all existing data
• Expertise in scripting languages like Python
• Create PA scripts to aid in migration
• Understanding of AWS S3 and ability to connect to them via API

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years experience with a programming
• 5+ years experience with MSSQL, Amazon RDS
• 3+ years in MS Power Automate
• 2+ years of experience in AWS CloudFormation
• Directly support the web and SharePoint development and systems engineering activities on the program perform in depth research, analysis and reporting
• Writing test plans, executing test plans, and documenting test results
• Writing easy to read, maintainable, testable code
• Enhancing and maintaining existing applications written in a variety of languages and frameworks
