Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Serve as an internal and external point of contact for administrative and shipment tracking support. This role involves fulfilling supply requests, including assembling and shipping packages using FedEx website/software, and may include maintaining inventory records.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all supply kits, ensuring accurate tracking of outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Utilize Excel for data entry and tracking purposes.
- Coordinate shipments with UPS and FedEx.
- Troubleshoot missed or delayed packages and provide customer service to resolve issues.
- Maintain up-to-date logs and records.
- Perform high-volume data entry and organizational tasks.
- Respond to all inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Experience with UPS and FedEx tracking shipments and logistics.
- Customer service skills, including follow-ups.
- 3 years of high-volume data entry or administrative assistant experience in a corporate office environment.
- Familiarity with using LIS system or similar software.
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in the medical industry.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Work Environment
The position is based in a friendly and casual office environment in Montgomery County, operating from 9 AM to 5 PM with a 30-minute break. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $22.00/hr.
