Sales Quoting and Cross-Referencing Analyst

McKesson Medical Surgical is seeking a Sales Quoting and Cross-Referencing Analyst to join their team. This individual is responsible for development of competitor conversion sales quotes for McKesson Medical-Surgical. The analyst will ensure consistent and accurate results for all product match and product price quotes to the sales force and other internal stakeholders.  The analyst will engage with other key business areas that support the data and who need to be involved in the review and approval for bids (Product Strategy, Contract Administration, Pricing, and Category Management). This position will be responsible for preparing quote requests for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver accurate product match and pricing quotes for internal and external customers 

• Collaborate with Product Strategy, Contract Administration, Pricing, and Category Management to review and approve bids 

• Support quoting efforts for Extended Care, Ambulatory Care, McKesson Laboratory Solutions, and Government segments 

• Assist with responses to formal bids

• Validate quote accuracy and ensure data integrity across systems 

• Provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders and sales teams 

• Participate in special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical proficiency in MS Excel

Critical Skills:

• 2+ years' experience in sales support, purchasing, item cross-referencing or customer service
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling preferred 
• Experience with SQL or equivalent data analysis tools is a plus
• 4+ years of experience in medical distribution, laboratory services, or a related healthcare segment a plus

• Ability to understand quoting requirements and deliver the results

• Background in data analysis or business analytics preferred 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
