Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and managing various clerical tasks. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with professionalism.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage/monitor appointments, insurance verification/authorizations, intake, admissions, referrals, discharges, and schedules effectively.
  • Assist in the coordination of office management tasks and recruitment to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Operate phone systems and manage communications to ensure trusting relationship with clients, contractors and team members.
  • Support staff with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve office processes, ensure compliance with established policies and enhance productivity.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using Google Suite and other office software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail for accurate data management.
  • Ability to operate phone systems effectively for communication purposes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving office efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Home health care office operations would be a plus
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist is preferred but not required.
