Program Support Analyst I

The Program Support Analyst I provides entry-level analytical and administrative support to Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and its subordinate organizations. The Analyst assists with policy drafting, data collection, and the development of reports, presentations, and internal communications. This position requires attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and the ability to analyze and summarize information in support of management initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Assist in drafting internal policies, reports, briefings, and other documentation for leadership review.
- Collect and organize data related to directorate and division programs.
- Support analysis of program operations, identifying areas for improvement or increased efficiency.
- Prepare presentation materials, charts, and visual aids to communicate analytical findings.
- Validate data and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other analysts and staff to support ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain familiarity with WHS policies, mission objectives, and administrative procedures.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, data calls, and task tracking.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience providing analytical or administrative support in a federal or DoD environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
- Ability to create professional visual aids and reports.
Citizenship and Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
