About Abelian

Abelian is a Salesforce-focused consulting firm helping service businesses and public-sector agencies modernize operations and achieve critical goals. We deliver secure, human-centered solutions in close-knit, agile teams where collaboration and professionalism guide our work.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Project Manager to lead small-to-midsize, under 500k, client engagements across those and other projects. You'll run agile delivery, facilitate discovery, and keep stakeholders aligned, all while modeling Abelian's values of empathy, professionalism, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

  • Own delivery for projects: scope, plan, budget, schedule, status, and risk/issue management.

  • Act as BA: lead discovery, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and UAT.

  • Run agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retros) and maintain a healthy backlog.

  • Translate requirements into right-sized Salesforce configurations and integrations with consultants/developers.

  • Drive change management: release planning, training, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

  • Teamwork: Build a strong team working to delight and excel at exceeding our clients expectations for the projects you manage.

  • Keep stakeholders aligned through crisp communication, decision logs, and clear documentation.

  • Ongoing Improvement: With technology changing at a more and more accelerated rate you are expected to be generally aware of the latest trends and offerings for our clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to manage software/consulting projects end-to-end in an agile environment.
  • Strong facilitation and requirements skills; empathetic listener and clear communicator.
  • Comfort managing scope, budget, and timelines and escalating risks appropriately.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills for client-facing work.

Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-have, not required)

  • 2–5 years in project management and/or business analysis within software, SaaS, or consulting.
  • Salesforce exposure (admin/BA work); Salesforce Admin or BA certification a plus.
  • Agile/PM credentials.
  • Public-sector or field service domain experience.
  • Familiarity with integrations, data migration, reporting/analytics.
  • Proficiency with delivery tools (e.g., Jira/) and process mapping.

How We Work

  • Agile first: short feedback loops and iterative value delivery.

  • Team over ego: consultants, engineers, and clients operate as one team.

  • Human-centered: empathy and professionalism guide decisions and outcomes.
