Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical subcontracting projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical contracting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure all project milestones are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and support staff, to achieve project goals. Provide guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, project specifications, and company quality guidelines. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality workmanship.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report on financial performance. Ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and final project deliverables. Provide regular status reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the electrical contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to project sites.
