Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. This role requires strong data entry skills, clerical abilities, and a solid understanding of office management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in data entry.
  • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system for all accounts payable documents.
  • Support the finance team with additional clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data entry and clerical work.
  • Familiarity with office management practices and procedures.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills.
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or personal assistant is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
