Accounts Payable Associate

As a result of our rapid growth, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our Payables and Accounting team
This role will be responsible for various functions within our Accounts Payable department and ensure payments are made accurately, on time, and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile and Prepare weekly Cancel Statements from finance partners for payment
- Regularly handle urgent and time-sensitive requests
- Update transactions for contracts in the Administrator's fulfilment portal (PCRS) for payment application, activations
- Support the Accounting team for month-end close
- Support financial projects related to year-end, audits, etc.
- Performs other tasks, functions and projects as need arise
- Payables Backup - Prepare checks for Cancellation Return Premiums, Commissions, Claims Reimbursements and others as needed
- College degree in accounting or similar
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- QuickBooks Online experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), Outlook and Word skills are required
- Invoice general ledger coding experience
- Full-cycle AP experience
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills, with an eagerness to take initiative
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a dynamic environment with emphasis on attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
- Sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage competing deadlines

Compensation Range - $ $26.44 per hour
