Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and expanding our market presence through strategic territory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in B2B sales, management, and customer service, with a focus on technology and product solutions. You will be responsible for building relationships, conducting product demos, and generating leads to drive revenue growth across designated territories.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking within assigned territories
- Manage existing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits
- Develop tailored sales strategies utilizing CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects and sales activities
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to maximize revenue potential
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback for analysis and reporting purposes
- Provide ongoing customer support to ensure a positive experience and foster long-term partnerships
- Manage territory sales targets through strategic planning and analysis skills
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or management roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead management and analysis
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and presentations tailored to client needs
- Experience in territory management, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales strategies
- Familiarity with marketing techniques relevant to outside sales efforts in technology or related industries
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and territories effectively
- Nice-to-have skills include experience in retail sales, inside sales, upselling techniques, and technical sales expertise
