About Harry's at Hofheimer
Harry's at Hofheimer is a multi-level event, hospitality, and creative community space committed to offering dynamic programming that brings people together. Across all floors of the historic Hofheimer building, we host experiences ranging from live entertainment and cultural events to private gatherings and community-focused activations. We are seeking a talented, organized, and creative Programming Coordinator to help shape and execute our event calendar.
Position Overview
The Programming Coordinator is responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating events across all floors of the Hofheimer building. This includes conceptualizing programming, vetting and booking talent or partners (in collaboration with the CEO), overseeing program logistics, and supporting promotional efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hospitality-minded, and experienced in event programming.
This is a part-time role with regular evening and weekend hours depending on scheduled events.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Development & Planning
- Develop a diverse and compelling programming calendar for all spaces and floors of the Hofheimer building.
- Generate concepts for events such as live music, DJ nights, workshops, tastings, talks, cultural series', community events, themed nights, and more.
- Coordinate with the CEO to evaluate, select, and book performers, speakers, vendors, and partners.
- Ensure programming aligns with brand identity, community goals, and revenue targets.
Event Coordination & Logistics
- Serve as point of contact for talent, partners, and vendors leading up to and during events.
- Manage event timelines, room setups, equipment needs, schedules, and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with on-site staff to ensure smooth execution from load-in to break-down.
- Track and manage event budgets, invoices, contracts, and payments in coordination with leadership.
Marketing & Promotion (If Applicable)
- Work with the CEO and/or marketing partners to create promotional materials and event descriptions.
- Provide programming details for social media, newsletters, and web calendars.
- Assist with onsite photo/video capture or content needs during events.
Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with local artists, performers, producers, vendors, and community partners.
- Seek new partnerships and opportunities that elevate Harry's at Hofheimer's programming presence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in event programming, arts & entertainment management, hospitality, community events, cultural programming, or a closely related field.
- Strong creative instincts and an understanding of what makes compelling public programming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong logistical and project management capabilities.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with the CEO and staff.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as programming requires.
- Experience with marketing coordination or event promotion is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
Work Structure
- Part-time role (hours vary based on programming)
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and occasional daytime meetings
- Reports directly to the CEO
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
