Role & Overview
A privately held, growth-stage energy technology organization is seeking a senior Business Development leader to accelerate commercial traction across large-scale compute, digital infrastructure, and mission-critical operations. The company develops adaptable, high-reliability power solutions designed to support customers facing rapidly increasing performance and resiliency demands.

The role oversees the full commercial lifecycle—from strategic market access through contract execution—guiding customers toward flexible, multi-fuel distributed energy systems capable of supporting their most essential workloads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Activate established relationships within major compute and infrastructure ecosystems to unlock new strategic opportunities.
  • Build trusted, executive-level partnerships across facility operations, energy procurement, and infrastructure planning.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles: access ? solution development ? negotiation ? contract close.
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable, multi-megawatt power strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with technical and financial teams to shape commercially viable, high-availability energy solutions.

Requirements

  • 7–20+ years in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with mission-critical infrastructure, distributed energy systems, or advanced compute environments.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex procurement and technical evaluation processes.
  • Prior experience within, or strong network ties to, major cloud, compute, or data-infrastructure organizations.
