We are launching a home-based EIDBI ABA program in Norway Health Center, supporting children and youth under the age of 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental needs. We utilize positive reinforcement within an ABA framework to build skills, teach new abilities, and reduce behaviors that limit independence. Our goal is to strengthen families, promote inclusion, and provide high-quality, ethical services in the home and community. Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated EIDBI Level 2 Provider to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs, delivering evidence-based, home-based ABA services under the supervision of BCBAs. You will support skill development, reduce barrier behaviors, and partner with families to promote growth, independence, and meaningful daily progress.

This is an essential position in Norway Health Center's home-based EIDBI ABA program. You will play a key role in building positive routines, supporting caregivers, and contributing to high-quality services rooted in dignity, respect, and data-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 ABA-based intervention in the home and community, following treatment goals and strategies outlined in the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP).
  • Support skill development in areas such as communication, daily living, social interaction, safety, and emotional regulation.
  • Collect and record data on targeted goals and share observations with the Level 1 provider to support ongoing treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote skill generalization in natural routines and daily activities.
  • Participate in supervision, coaching, and required training to ensure fidelity to ABA methods and EIDBI guidelines.
  • Utilize crisis management techniques when necessary to maintain safety and uphold best practices.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and follow all professional, ethical, and program standards.
  • Complete all mandated trainings per DHS/EIDBI guidelines prior to working with clients and throughout employment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications: To qualify for this position, candidates must be at least 18 years old, and meet one of the following qualification pathways:
    • Bachelor's Degree Pathway:

      Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, child development, or a related field AND one of the following:

      – At least 1,000 hours of clinical experience or training with individuals with ASD or related conditions; OR

      – Equivalent graduate-level coursework in ASD, treatment strategies, or child development; OR

      – Certification as a BCaBA, RBT, or in another DHS-recognized treatment modality.
  • Associate's Degree Pathway:

    Associate's degree in behavioral health, child development, or a related field AND at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience providing treatment to individuals with ASD or related conditions.
  • Experience-Only Pathway:

    At least 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience delivering treatment to individuals with ASD or related conditions.
  • Graduate Student Pathway:

    Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a behavioral health or related field AND formally assigned to an EIDBI provider agency for clinical training under a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP).
  • Language/Cultural Provider Pathway:

    Fluent in a non-English language or certified by a tribal government, has completed required EIDBI trainings, AND receives weekly supervision until 1,000 supervised clinical hours are met.
  • Bachelor's-in-Progress Pathway:

    Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's degree in a behavioral health or related field, AND receives twice-monthly supervision until 1,000 supervised clinical hours are met.
  • Treatment Modality Pathway:

    Completed initial certification in the agency's treatment modality, completed EIDBI required trainings, AND receives weekly supervision until 1,000 supervised clinical hours are met.
  • Must provide sufficient documentation to verify eligibility as an EIDBI Level 2 provider.
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and carry own vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Hours:

  • Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
  • Flexible hours between 7am and 8 pm, depending on patient availability.
  • Schedules are up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility
