The BCBA collaborates closely with parents, educators, RBTs/therapists, and interdisciplinary partners to ensure a holistic and person-centered approach.

This is a key clinical position in launching Norway's home-based EIDBI ABA services, where ethical practice, data-based decision making, and collaboration are central.

Key Responsibilities:

  8. Clinical Supervision: Provide observation, coaching, and direction to Level I, II, and III staff delivering ABA services; uphold ethical and professional supervision standards.
  9. Ethical and Cultural Practice: Maintain confidentiality, uphold BACB ethics, and provide culturally sensitive, family-centered care.
  10. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing supervision, training, and continuing education to maintain certification and stay current with best practices in ABA.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related human services field from an accredited institution.
  2. Certification: Active BCBA certification in good standing, with at least two years of post-certification experience (or prior approval). Must meet EIDBI requirements to serve as a QSP provider.
  3. Experience: Demonstrated competence in behavior management, assessment, instructional strategies, and caregiver collaboration. Experience working with children or youth of varying ages and support needs, and the ability to work independently in home-based settings.
  4. Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, solid data-based decision-making abilities, and proficiency with ABA methodologies such as DTT and naturalistic teaching. Comfortable using digital tools such as Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and electronic documentation systems, with the ability to respond promptly to calls, emails, and family needs.
  5. Cultural Competence: Commitment to family-centered and culturally responsive care that respects each child's background, language, and values.
