About Us

1 Plus Project provides Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) services for children with autism and developmental delays across Minnesota.

Our approach centers on relationship-based, play-focused models like DIR Floortime to help children and families grow together.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative and EIDBI Intake Specialist to manage the flow of new clients and support our clinical and HR teams.

This is not an entry-level role — the ideal candidate has already worked in an EIDBI program and understands how CMDEs, ITPs, authorizations, and staff affiliations work in Minnesota.

You'll ensure every new family moves smoothly from referral to active billing while keeping our documentation and staff credentials fully compliant.

Schedule: 8 AM to 2PM In office. Availability 5pm to 7pm remotely for Intake duties after hours with families.

Key Responsibilities

Client Intake & Coordination

  • Contact new families from incoming leads and schedule intake meetings with the Program Supervisor.
  • Send and collect all required EIDBI forms (ROI, intake packet, parent questionnaire).
  • Request and track IEPs, wellness checks, and diagnostic reports.
  • Maintain an organized client tracker (Google Sheet / CRM) showing each child's progress from intake to billing.

EIDBI Documentation & Authorization

  • Prepare and submit CMDE and ITP packets to Kepro or payer portals (MA, UCare, BCBS).
  • Track authorization dates, renewals, and approval numbers.
  • Communicate with parents and supervisors about documentation status and start dates.

Administrative Operations

  • Manage scheduling communication between families, BTs, and supervisors.
  • Organize and maintain digital files (Drive / HIPAA-compliant folders).
  • Support billing submission preparation and payroll review.
  • Administrative Duties as Assigned in support of Daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Required: Prior experience working in an EIDBI program (at least 6 months) handling client intake, documentation, or billing support.
  • Required: Previous Intake experience with EIDBI Clients.
  • Familiarity with MN-ITS, Kepro, NetStudy 2.0, and EIDBI-specific processes.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail — able to track many families and staff simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs).
  • Clear, professional communication with families, staff, and supervisors.
