Clinical Manager – Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services

What You'll Do
Program Oversight & Compliance

Oversee the daily operations of ANEW's SUD treatment programs, ensuring alignment with 245G licensing standards, DHS regulations, and our mission.

Drive program excellence — evaluate outcomes, recommend improvements, and support strategic growth.

Lead the integration of SUD services with co-occurring mental health treatment for truly holistic care.

Clinical Supervision & Staff Development

Provide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed staff, interns, and multidisciplinary teams.

Offer hands-on clinical consultation for complex cases, ethical issues, and risk management.

Review and audit all clinical documentation to maintain compliance and quality.

Lead training, onboarding, and ongoing staff development to foster a culture of professional boundaries, trauma-informed care, and cultural responsiveness.

Client Care & Service Delivery

Step in for direct client services when needed — including assessments, individual counseling, case management, and group facilitation.

Champion client-centered care by addressing concerns, high-risk situations, and feedback through exit interviews.

Cross-Department Collaboration

Partner with residential, outpatient, and sober housing leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality care across all programs.

Lead interdepartmental consultations, crisis planning, and communication to strengthen client success.

Administrative Leadership

Manage staffing, scheduling, and program logistics.

Conduct file audits and ensure all documentation meets quality assurance standards.

Participate in leadership meetings, contribute to performance improvement, and support agency-wide initiatives.

What You Bring

Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.

Licensure: LADC or equivalent license required.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a licensed SUD program required, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

5+ years working in both residential and outpatient settings.

Proven success supervising multidisciplinary teams and leading program development, quality assurance, and integrated care initiatives.

Commitment to working with women, families, and culturally diverse populations.
