We are a state licensed recreational dispensary located in Sacramento, California. Our dispensary has been serving customers and patients in the Sacramento area for over 10 years. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service, offering fair prices, and dispensing a great selection of cannabis products for our members.
We are currently looking for talented individuals with great customer service and a passion for the cannabis industry. The position of 'Dispensary Consultant' (a.k.a. 'budtender') at our organization requires the following:
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Cannabis experience preferred
- Customer Service experience is a mandatory requirement
- Must have fundamental knowledge on cannabinoids, terpenes, cannabis as medicine, extracts, tinctures, and topical cannabis. Knowledge of popular cannabis strains is a mandatory requirement
- Basic knowledge of cannabis regulations in California
- Available to work hour shifts with a 30 minute lunch break Mon-Sun (Up to 24 hours a week).
- Available to work a mix of both morning shifts (7:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.) and evening shifts (2:15 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) with growth opportunities
- Available to work monthly Inventory Nights (8 Hour Shift)
- Outstanding work ethic. Professional attitude and demeanor
- Diligent with cash handling
- Must be a team player and have the ability to take direction
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable
- Must be adaptable and able to shift direction if needed.
- Must be 21 or over *required per California regulations
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions throughout the day
- Must report to work on time and consistently when scheduled
- Must possess High School level math skills
- Customer service with cash handling experience preferred
- Must be able to familiarize yourself with and follow cannabis rules and regulations
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedure
- Must have a passion for the cannabis industry
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level & thoughtful customer service to our customers.
- Welcome, greet, and serve as first employee point of contact for establishing rapport with customers
- Check ID's, and check customers in at front desk
- Operate the POS system to build customer profiles and process transactions
- Conduct sales transactions on a cash register with speed, accuracy, and positive customer service
- Be willing to learn about and communicate the benefits of our products to customers and fellow employees
- Be aware of daily specials, and products currently in our inventory
- Stay up to date and knowledgeable about cannabis products that we offer
- Demonstrate a professional and patient attitude with customer inquiries and complaints
- Clean work stations and company equipment/restrooms
- Assist with Bi-Weekly Inventory
- Prevent asset loss by maintaining an organized environment
