Receptionist/Budtender

About Us:

The Kana Company is a licensed retail cannabis dispensary in Sacramento, CA. We're seeking a part-time Receptionist/Budtender to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who is friendly, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a professional cannabis retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in customers; verify identification and documentation.
• Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and support front desk operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and cannabis education.
• Process sales accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly.
• Promote products, sales, and specials.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with all State and local cannabis regulations.
• Support store operations and team goals as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a clean driving record and background.
• Previous adult-use or medical cannabis dispensary experience preferred.
• 2+ years of retail, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Flexible availability — must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.

Schedule:

• 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
