Must pass a background check

We are looking for someone with a passion for helping youth and making an impact in his or her community. We are looking for Area Representatives to help find loving host families for high school exchange students and provide support to them during their exchange experience. If you are interested in making a difference in a student's life, this is the opportunity for you

We mentor students, and here is how:

The main responsibilities for our Area Representatives is to promote the program by bringing along host families in your area or community. Once the students arrive you are the one in communication throughout the year with the students and families. The responsibilities would be:

Help recruit host families and help them choose their student to host- by social media OR word of mouth in your community. Your Coordinator helps with this too

Conduct a 30 min home study and help verify references of host family

Make monthly contact by phone or in person with host family and student

Make 1 contact per semester with school and get copy of report card from host family or student

Provide 3 simple local activities with the student over the course of the year.

You have the most important role in our organization. Their hard work and dedication to placing students with loving host families and supporting them during their time together is key to building a more tolerant and peaceful world.
