Entry Level Accounts Payable Specialist Wanted

Location: Fort Lauderdale, 33315

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking an entry level Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring vendor relationships and customer satisfaction are maintained with professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review statements/invoices for accuracy.
  • Follow all policies and Procedures provided during training.
  • Work with all departments to assure deadlines for payments are met timely.
  • Process check, electronic and credit card payments to vendors.
  • Verify all steps in the internal process are completed and accurate before submitting payment.
  • Communicate with internal staff and vendors to resolve discrepancies or disputes.
  • Keep up with a fast paced and high volume work environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to problem solve and communicate.
  • Basic mathematics understanding and/or basic book keeping skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Able working independently and as a team to complete daily tasks and deadlines.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Occasional flexibility to work outside regular hours during industry events.
