We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Floor Manager to lead daily operations in a dynamic food service environment. Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow across all departments including kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff
  • Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols
  • Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing levels, and oversee shift change procedures to maximize efficiency
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards to deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest
  • Oversee inventory control processes including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; perform cash handling duties with integrity
  • Enforce food safety standards in compliance with health regulations; conduct regular cleanliness inspections and staff training on hygiene practices
  • Assist with hiring interviews and performance evaluations to build a motivated and professional team
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or service
  • Support catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to expand revenue opportunities
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food industry management with a background in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
  • Demonstrated supervising experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and transaction processing
  • Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
  • Knowledge of budgeting principles and cost control strategies within a restaurant context
  • Culinary experience or fine dining background is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
  • Hospitality management background including shift management, team management, and restaurant operations oversight is highly valued
  • Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates and providing constructive feedback
  • Previous assistant manager experience is advantageous but not mandatory
