Position Overview

The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of our floor care division, ensuring high performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency across all accounts. This individual will manage field teams, coordinate scheduling, monitor quality standards, and serve as the key operational liaison between customers, field staff, and senior leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee daily operations across all floor care accounts, ensuring consistent service quality and client satisfaction

· Lead, train, and develop operational and field teams to drive performance and accountability

· Manage scheduling, staffing, equipment deployment, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency

· Serve as the main point of contact for customer communication, issue resolution, and service updates

· Collaborate closely with the President to execute strategic initiatives and achieve business goals

· Track operational metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives

· Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

· Support new business transitions, onboarding, and operational setup for new clients

· Work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed, to support operational needs

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within floor care, janitorial, or facility services industries

· Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects or accounts simultaneously

· Strong communication and customer service skills; comfortable interacting with clients at all levels

· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills

· Knowledge of floor care processes, chemicals, and equipment a plus

· Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer and operational demands
