Job description:
We are a rapidly growing HVAC company located near Detroit, MI. We are looking for an administrative assistant who will provide support to several team members who are managing construction projects.
Examples of tasks that may be required for this role include:
- Data entry – reviewing outstanding billing reports. Update status of outstanding bills, using Excel and exported financial software reports.
- Collect information for ongoing construction projects. Prepare reports using company templates. These reports will be used for client distribution and internal department transitions.
- Using our project management software, collect data of HVAC equipment such as install dates, model and serial numbers and vendor company. Prepare this data for client distribution and internal department transitions.
- Online research for a variety of topics such as grant opportunities, equipment costs, equipment vendors, etc.
- Print frequently used items on jobsites such as full-sized construction drawings, safety manuals, equipment forms, etc.
- Maintain office supplies and order as needed.
This role is full-time and in-office at our Detroit location. The candidate should have several years of experience working with commonly used software such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
The person working in this role will need to be organized, have good attention to detail and be able to multi-task. This role frequently requires critical thinking and problem-solving. Candidates should be self-motivated to complete projects and requested tasks, with moderate supervision.
