Position Overview

The Director of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing HR initiatives that support the organization's mission, culture, and long-term goals. This role oversees all aspects of HR operations—including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, compliance, and organizational development—while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape workforce planning, organizational structure, and company culture.
  • Lead change-management initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, ensuring high-quality hires across all departments.
  • Establish talent pipelines, employer branding efforts, and recruitment metrics.
  • Forecast staffing needs and optimize workforce planning processes.

Performance Management & Development

  • Guide performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and coaching.
  • Design and implement professional development, leadership training, and succession planning programs.
  • Promote a culture of feedback, accountability, and continuous growth.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Oversee payroll, HRIS administration, and data management.
  • Ensure HR operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practices.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Lead employee engagement efforts to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Serve as a resource for managers and employees on HR policies and best practices.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Mitigate organizational risk by implementing proactive HR practices.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120, $135,000.00 per year
