Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Communications and Engagement Program Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans to engage stakeholders and promote the organization's goals. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on both internal and external audiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of building and scaling programs that align with Masimo's values and business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Communication Planning:
- Developing and executing communication strategies aligned with organizational goals and target audiences.
- Leading the planning, deployment, feedback and manager preparations of Gallup Q12 Employee Engagement survey
- Partnering with team leaders and HR team to build and support strategies to address survey findings
Content Creation And Management
- Creating various communication materials, including written content (e.g., intranet posts, emails, presentations), visual content (e.g., videos, infographics), and social media content.
- Partnering with IT and Marketing Communications teams to design, build and maintain employee intranet
- Managing internal feedback channels including "Ask Katie" CEO feedback forum
Stakeholder Engagement
- Building and maintaining relationships with global stakeholders, including employees, HR team, cross functional teams (for example IT, Marketing Communications) leaders, patients and clinicians, candidates and potential recruiting sources
- Creating and maintaining two-way communication channels for feedback and continuous improvement
- Building a network of engagement champions across the functions and regions within Masimo
Event Planning And Management
- Leading preparation for monthly Masimo Team Meeting including agenda, slides, special guests/patient focus, employee recognition, Q&A in collaboration with CEO, CHRO
- Organizing and managing events, both internal and external, to foster engagement and strengthen transparent communication
- Creating opportunities for employee recognition and celebration of successes
- Aligning activities with Masimo purpose to strengthen employee pride and connection with the organization and strengthen the Masimo brand as employer in the communities where we operate
Measurement And Reporting
- Tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of communication efforts, providing regular reports on key metrics and making recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collaborating with HRIS and IT/Analytics colleagues to design dashboards to present metrics in a meaningful, easy to understand format
Team Leadership
- Coordinating the efforts of diverse groups of employees to drive to a shared outcome
- Inspiring through influence
- Managing project plans and timelines to ensure delivery excellence
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Human Resources Officer and other senior leaders on matters related to culture, engagement and effective communications
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR functions to ensure integrated and holistic people strategies
- Analyze data and metrics to inform strategy, demonstrate impact, and drive continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in employee engagement and communications, with focus on culture transformation, employee engagement
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication: Demonstrated strength in crafting clear, concise, and compelling messages for various audiences and channels.
- Strong Project Management Skills: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and manage their expectations and ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strategic Thinking: Experience developing and implementing communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Results orientation: Balances strategic mindset with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach
- Analytical Skills: Tracking and analyzing communication metrics, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft office suite including PowerPoint and SharePoint, social media platforms, and other communication tools.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
Compensation
:
The anticipated range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000
.
Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
