Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, lead key areas of month-end close, and manage a small accounting team. This role is hands-on ideal for someone who enjoys owning the details while helping improve processes, job costing accuracy, and financial visibility for leadership.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Own assigned areas of the month-end close
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze financial and job cost variances
- Monitor project margins and labor allocations
- Partner with Operations and Project Management on cost issues
- Support audits, lender requests, and compliance filings
- Improve accounting processes, systems, and documentation
- Lead and mentor a small accounting team
What We're looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with job costing or project-based accounting
- Prior experience reviewing or leading junior accounting staff
- ERP and/or Quick Books experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- CPA or CPA-track
- Construction, ,manufacturing, signage, or field services experience
- Multi-entity or multi-location experience
- ERP optimization or implementation
