Are you a dedicated psychiatrist seeking a meaningful opportunity to impact lives within a community-based setting? We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to provide vital mental health services for individuals with dual diagnoses in an Intensive Supported Living (ISL) environment. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, patient-focused atmosphere that values your expertise and commitment.
In this position, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in mandatory morning meetings to ensure cohesive patient care. The role entails up to 10 hours per week with various shift times, including a 12-hour shift length, primarily focusing on mental health interventions within Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) populations. Travel and documentation reimbursements are available where applicable, supporting your operational needs.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Pennsylvania
- Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry
- Proven experience in mental health treatment, especially with dual diagnoses
- Strong assessment and clinical evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to participate in community-based programs and be on-site at least once per month
- Experience with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) populations
- Prior work in community mental health settings
- Familiarity with state and federal mental health regulations
- Bilingual abilities a plus
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience in mental health services
- Certification in Psychiatry, with active state licensure
- Willingness to be on-site at least one minute per month
- Participation in ongoing training and mandatory morning meetings
- Compliance with all relevant licensure, certification, and travel reimbursement policies
