Join Our Team as a Psychiatrist - ABH - Pennsylvania - DDTT Are you a dedicated mental health professional passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled psychiatrist to join our community-based program in Pennsylvania. This vital role offers flexibility and the opportunity to impact lives positively while working within a collaborative environment. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health support to individuals with dual diagnoses in IDD settings. You'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to improving quality of life and fostering independence for your patients. The position involves up to 10 hours per week with varied shifts, primarily on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, including mandatory morning meetings. Required Skills: Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in Pennsylvania Experience in dual diagnosis treatment, particularly with IDD populations Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with community-based mental health programs Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations Additional certifications in related mental health specialties Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or other languages Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree with applicable state licensure At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in psychiatry, preferably with IDD or community-based populations Experience working in multidisciplinary or collaborative care settings Other Requirements: Willingness to be on-site at least 1 minute per month Flexibility to work various shifts within the 7:00 AM 7:00 PM window Compliance with all applicable licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement guidelines This is an excellent opportunity for psychiatrists seeking a flexible schedule with meaningful work in a supportive environment.
