Join Our Team as a Psychiatrist - ABH - Pennsylvania - DDTT Are you a dedicated psychiatric professional passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with dual diagnoses? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist to work within our community-based program supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health challenges. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful clinical work while enjoying a flexible schedule and competitive benefits. This role offers up to 10 hours per week, with various shift times aligned with our community needs. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for managing dual diagnoses in mental health within an IDD population, providing essential services in a community setting. Mandatory participation in morning meetings on M/W/F and minimum sight visits once a month are required to ensure coordinated care and team collaboration. Required Skills: Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in Pennsylvania Experience working with individuals with dual diagnoses, especially in mental health and IDD populations Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience in community-based psychiatric settings Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding mental health and IDD services Prior involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings Certification in relevant psychiatric specialties Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree with valid Pennsylvania medical license Minimum of 2 years experience in psychiatry, preferably in community and IDD settings Proven track record in managing dual diagnoses and complex cases Other Requirements: Willingness to be available for in-sight visits at least once per month Flexibility to work various shifts within the 07:00 - 19:00 timeframe Travel reimbursement and licensure support when applicable Compensation for this position is an attractive hourly pay rate, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
