Exciting Opportunity: Psychiatrist ABH Pennsylvania DDTT Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Psychiatrist specializing in dual diagnoses within intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). If you're passionate about improving lives and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to deliver expert mental health services in Pennsylvania under the ABH - DDTT program. This part-time role involves up to 10 hours weekly, focusing on dual diagnoses for clients with IDD. You will work within a community-based framework, contributing to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to client-centered care. Your expertise will support individuals in achieving better mental health outcomes while adhering to your schedule and commitments. Required Skills: Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in Pennsylvania Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry Proven experience in mental health treatment, particularly with dual diagnoses in IDD populations Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including morning meetings on M/W/F Nice to Have Skills: Experience with community-based mental health programs Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing mental health services Prior exposure to IDD populations Bilingual abilities or additional language skills Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in mental health services Prior work in community or outpatient settings preferred Other Requirements: Willingness to be on-site at least once per month Participation in mandatory morning meetings on M/W/F Ability to commit to approximately 12-hour shift lengths as needed No specific pay rate provided at this time; competitive compensation aligns with experience and qualifications Must possess or be willing to obtain relevant licensure and certifications This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team environment.
