Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit, where compassion and exceptional care are at the forefront of our mission. In this vital role, you will enhance the patient experience by implementing physician orders and providing critical nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform necessary treatments and special tests while ensuring compliance with company policy and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and monitor patients' conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate patient needs to tailor care effectively.
- Exercise sound nursing judgment in managing patient care.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational health issues.
- Administer medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescription options.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to establish comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guide and support ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
