Clinical Research Nurse

Work Shift: Per Diem (United States of America)
Salary Range: $78,773.63 - $122,099.12
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Clinical Research Nurse to oversee and manage multiple clinical trials. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and care of research patients from the beginning to the end of their participation in the study.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the start-up and termination of research studies.
- Engage in patient recruitment, conduct screening for eligibility, and oversee scheduling and physical assessments.
- Collect and process biospecimens and ensure accurate data collection throughout the study.
- Act as a vital liaison between the Principal Investigator (PI) and research sites, sponsors, and vendors involved in the trial.
Pre-Study Initiation:
- Attend site pre-study visit and Investigator Meetings, both remotely and on-site (travel may be required).
- Conduct feasibility assessments and prepare necessary regulatory documents.
- Prepare and submit informed consent forms for IRB approval.
IRB Coordination:
- Prepare initial and ongoing IRB submission documents, including protocols and patient information materials.
- Submit all required documents and amendments as needed, including annual reviews and deviation reports.
Patient Interactions:
- Conduct the informed consent process, ensuring participants understand the study, risks, and benefits.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups, study visits, and all necessary assessments.
- Perform health assessments, including vital signs and specimen collection.
- Monitor patients closely for any adverse events and ensure their safety throughout the research process.
