The Clinical Nurse II responsibilities include:
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments, procedures, and special tests while documenting treatment in accordance with company policy and relevant regulations.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of patient needs and responses to care.
- Applying sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
- Providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administering medications, both over-the-counter and prescriptions, as ordered.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop an effective Plan of Care for all patients.
- Guiding ancillary personnel and upholding professional nursing standards.
