As a Clinical Leadership Director, you will play a crucial role in supervising and training primary care providers (PCPs) at your center. You will be responsible for enhancing clinical quality, improving outcomes, and maximizing clinician and patient satisfaction. This role includes direct patient care as a PCP and leadership responsibilities that drive the growth of our clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to patients, managing acute and chronic illnesses in older adults.
  • Take complete accountability for patient care outcomes, collaborating with specialists when necessary.
  • Engage with hospitalists to ensure continuity of care for hospitalized patients.
  • Lead a dedicated care team, overseeing health promotion, care coordination, and documentation for your patients.
  • Provide leadership during key meetings and fill in for other clinical leaders as needed to support optimal center operations.
  • Foster a collaborative culture, mentoring and coaching PCPs to achieve outstanding clinical results.
  • Drive the financial performance of your center in partnership with operations leadership while helping to grow membership.
  • Actively participate in recruitment efforts for additional providers and patient engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
  • Current, active MD licensure in the state of employment.
  • A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a geriatric, adult, or family practice setting recommended.
  • Completion of ChenMed training, including Masterful Conversations.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty is preferred.
  • Current DEA number for controlled substances is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 90 days of employment.
