What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment for optimal patient care.
  • Assist in various surgical procedures while ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Transport patients and equipment, maintaining safety and efficiency in the operating room.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment.
  • Provide support as a Second Assistant when needed.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is needed within 6 months of hiring.
  • No prior experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must handle a fast-paced and stressful environment effectively
  • Ability to lift and move patients/items as per job requirements
  • Exposure to various hazards, requiring appropriate safety measures
