Qualifications – Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities – Labor & Delivery RN

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, promptly recognizing and responding to complications
• Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the clinical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
